Student Responsibilities
It is the student’s responsibility to read Student Responsibilities in its entirety.
It is the student’s responsibility to act and to obey Municipal, Provincial and Federal laws.
It is the student’s responsibility to respect the rights of the other members of the community and to behave in a way that does not harm or threaten to harm another person’s physical or mental wellbeing.
It is the student’s responsibility to uphold an atmosphere of civility, honesty, equity and respect for others, thereby valuing the inherent diversity in our community.
It is the student’s responsibility to respect the property of others including the property of Top Gear Motorcycle School.
It is the student’s responsibility to be fully acquainted with and adhere to Top Gear Motorcycle School's policies, procedures and rules.
It is the student’s responsibility to become familiar with course outlines, content, evaluation methods, timelines and methodologies.
It is the student’s responsibility to observe and obey all health and safety procedures outlined for classrooms, field trips, practical, and other spaces.
It is the student’s responsibility to monitor the email address listed on the student’s account at the time of a communication being sent. This communication is deemed to be received on the date the email is sent.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their registration. This requires careful attention to course selection and compliance with prerequisite, corequisite, and program completion requirements.
It is the student’s responsibility to observe and obey all health and safety procedures outlined for classrooms, field trips, practical, and other spaces.
DEEMED UNSUCCESSFUL
If you have attended any or all of your scheduled module(s) and you are not able to successfully demonstrate the skills required to proceed, you agree that you are not entitled to a refund or credit of any fees or deferral or transfer of the time for all or any portion of the course remaining.
LATE ARRIVALS / NO SHOW:
As the curriculum is progressive, you are required to be on time to your class. Late arrivals WILL be turned away. Each module requires the successful completion of the previous module and therefore you agree that missing a day in whole or part will result in termination of registration for the remainder of your course with no refunds provided.
ALCOHOL / DRUGS / ABUSE:
You agree that Top Gear Motorcycles School Ltd. may terminate your registration without any right to a refund or credit due to any and all behaviors that we find to be inappropriate, unsafe, or illegal including and not limited to the following reasons:

you are observed to be under the influence of alcohol and or drugs
-
failure to follow instructions
-
harassment or abuse of any kind towards any person including and not limited to course participants, instructors, or staff; property including and not limited to motorcycles and equipment, our staffs, participants, or facility.
DAMAGES TO EQUIPMENT
You agree that any damages to equipment and property including and not limited to motorcycles and equipment or facility will be the responsibility of the student. We will asses the damages and all repairs to equipment will be done through our partners at Top Gear Cycles Ltd. These repairs will be done at market rates at the time of the damages and will be the responsibility of the student.
